Scenography Workshops for ESMAE
Location: Porto, Portugal
Supply and installation of a prefabricated modular building, 1 floor, for the Stage Workshops of the Superior School of Music, Arts and Entertainment (ESMAE), at Rua da Alegria, in Porto, Portugal.
Solution composed of 10 prefabricated modules, with 3.60m of right foot, making a total area of ??360sqm. Sliding doors were created to facilitate access to the main building and between the carpentry and storage rooms. The large number of glazed spans allow the entrance of natural light into all work areas.
For a more interesting visualization of the exterior facades, two types of coatings were chosen with different materials and colors: Gray-lacquered profiled sheet and phenolic resin plates to imitate dark wood.
Given the workshop specifications, the interior floor is composed of a concrete slab for greater strength and durability. In addition to the networks of water / sewage and electricity was included the network of compressed air.
